About Our Mission
Those who are recovering from SUD are an important part of our communities and have so much potential within them. We want to see each person who experiences Be Free honoring and accepting their life path, living into their purpose, and sharing their unique gifts with the world. When they have pride and dignity in who they are and their life experiences, their recovery is sustainable, and they are unstoppable.
Spending Your Contributions
Several of Be Free’s most important initiatives are nearing funding completion and starting operations. Each initiative has its own budget. Grants from high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and governments are the primary source of funding for each initiative.
Be Free’s most critical need is funding for our core budget. Each operating initiative requires oversight and management. Each new initiative requires outreach, research, development, and funding. Each operating initiative requires supervision, data collection, and reporting to major funders.
Be Free is not seeking incremental change. We seek to develop initiatives that will make a significant impact. Initiatives that will move the needle require experienced leaders with vision and the ability to manage multiple programs.
